BIP BIP BIP. Le r\u00e9veil sonne. \u201cAllez ! Debout ! Faut aller bosser !\u201d L\u2019esprit encore embrum\u00e9, je me douche, m\u2019habille et prends un caf\u00e9. BIP BIP. J\u2019entre dans la voiture. Vingt minutes plus tard\u2026 BIP. Le portail s\u2019ouvre. Me voil\u00e0 gar\u00e9. Je marche jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e. BIP. D\u00e9verrouille la porte, monte les escaliers.<\/p>\n

\u2014 \u201cSalut ! \u00c7a va? \u201d Je m\u2019assieds, allume le PC.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Eh, tu veux un caf\u00e9?<\/p>\n

\u2014 Oui s\u2019il te pla\u00eet.\u201d<\/p>\n

BIP. C\u2019est pr\u00eat. Des heures \u00e0 taper sur un clavier. Puis vient la pause d\u00e9jeuner. Ni une, ni deux, le repas dispara\u00eet. BIP BIP BIP. Le t\u00e9l\u00e9phone n\u2019arr\u00eate pas de sonner.<\/p>\n

Pas une minute pour penser \u00e0 la Grande Perfection, alors s\u2019y entra\u00eener, je n\u2019ose m\u00eame pas l\u2019envisager\u2026<\/p>\n

Et pourtant \u201cla pratique quotidienne du dzogchen est simplement la vie quotidienne elle-m\u00eame\u201d<\/em> disait Dilgo Khyents\u00e9 Rinpoch\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Alors qu\u2019est-ce que j\u2019ai manqu\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n

Il faut se rendre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9vidence, dans mes repr\u00e9sentations mentales, la pratique et la vie ordinaire sont deux domaines bien \u00e9loign\u00e9s. Dans mon esprit, la premi\u00e8re c\u2019est \u00eatre tranquillement assis sur un coussin tandis que la seconde, c\u2019est \u00eatre au boulot ou \u00e0 la maison, agit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Mais doivent-elles vraiment \u00eatre s\u00e9par\u00e9es ?<\/p>\n

Lorsque Vimalak\u012brti voit \u015a\u0101riputra tranquillement assis sous un arbre dans la for\u00eat, ne lui dit-il pas :<\/p>\n

Peut-\u00eatre est-ce cela qui m\u2019\u00e9chappe : pratiquer ce n\u2019est pas rechercher le calme, s\u2019extirper du monde et ne plus le voir tourner. Mais au contraire : tout en maintenant la vue sur ce que je suis r\u00e9ellement, y demeurer.<\/p>\n

Or j\u2019ai l\u2019impression que pour beaucoup d\u2019entre nous \u2014 et je m\u2019inclus pleinement dans ce \u201cnous\u201d \u2014, nous entretenons une vision fantasm\u00e9e de l\u2019entrainement et de comment pratiquer. Nous souhaiterions \u00eatre comme le h\u00e9ros du film qui gravit le sommet de la montagne, pour rejoindre dans un temple en bois un vieux ma\u00eetre barbu, s\u2019exprimant uniquement par des proverbes obscurs aux dr\u00f4les de sonorit\u00e9s. Alors que concevoir la pratique au travail, jamais !<\/p>\n

Mais est-ce bien comme cela qu\u2019on arpente le chemin? Est-ce seulement une possibilit\u00e9 ?<\/p>\n

Dans son article \u201cVivre et mourir \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re Dzogch\u00e8n<\/a>\u201d, Johanne nous raconte la tr\u00e8s inspirante vie de P\u00e9ma, cuisinier dans un monast\u00e8re dzogch\u00e8n pour qui la pratique n\u2019a jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 autre chose que de \u201csimplement faire avec les conditions de [son] existence<\/em>\u201d, en vivant sa vie de cuisinier tout en maintenant la vue essentielle de la nature de l\u2019esprit dans son activit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Voil\u00e0 peut-\u00eatre notre v\u00e9ritable montagne, le chemin que nous devons arpenter.<\/p>\n

Alors oui, mettre en pratique les enseignements autour de la machine \u00e0 caf\u00e9, ou maintenir la pr\u00e9sence dans un contexte professionnel fait moins r\u00eaver que l\u2019id\u00e9e du yogi perdu dans la montagne, mais n\u2019est-ce pas notre souhait que de nous (r)\u00e9veiller?<\/p>\n

Il n\u2019y a pas, d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9, un monde pur et de l\u2019autre, un monde souill\u00e9. De m\u00eame, il n\u2019y a pas un monde de la Grande Perfection qui serait oppos\u00e9 au monde du travail de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Cette distinction entre pratique et vie ordinaire est une projection. Traditionnellement, il n\u2019y a aucune incompatibilit\u00e9. Comme le dit D\u00f4gen dans ses Instructions au cuisinier zen : \u201cVoil\u00e0 comment jadis pratiquaient nos grands anc\u00eatres ; c\u2019est en travaillant de leurs mains qu\u2019ils ma\u00eetrisaient la voie\u201d.<\/em> Se rappeler des enseignements et pratiquer lorsqu\u2019on coupe un oignon, qu\u2019on parle \u00e0 un coll\u00e8gue, ou qu\u2019on tape sur un clavier, voil\u00e0 une chose qui est \u00e0 notre port\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Travail et Grande Perfection ne sont donc pas ennemis, ils ne l\u2019ont jamais \u00e9t\u00e9, mais peuvent \u00eatre alli\u00e9s !<\/p>\n
