Le refuge et la montagne<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nous \u00e9tions en randonn\u00e9e pour la journ\u00e9e dans les Alpes suisses avec mes parents et mes trois fr\u00e8res, et en redescendant nous nous sommes tromp\u00e9s de chemin.<\/p>\n

Tout aurait tr\u00e8s bien pu se passer si le temps n\u2019avait pas brutalement tourn\u00e9 et qu\u2019il s\u2019\u00e9tait mis \u00e0 pleuvoir.<\/p>\n

Imaginez : une famille perdue dans l\u2019orage sur une montagne, quittant la vue d\u00e9gag\u00e9e des alpages pour s\u2019enfoncer dans la for\u00eat sans savoir o\u00f9 elle va. Quatre enfants (deux de quatre ans, un de sept – moi – et le plus grande de douze), sous les frondaisons d\u00e9goulinantes de pluie, avec le jour s\u2019amenuisant.<\/p>\n

Pourtant, je n\u2019ai aucun souvenir d\u2019avoir eu peur. Mon p\u00e8re s\u2019inqui\u00e9tait, pour s\u00fbr, et ma m\u00e8re \u00e9galement. Mais moi ? Non. Je crois que j\u2019avais juste confiance.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vingt-cing ans plus tard, je me suis retrouv\u00e9 au cr\u00e9puscule dans le Jura, avec<\/span> la neige et l\u2019incertitude quant au fait de trouver<\/span> un abri avant la nuit. Perdu au milieu d\u2019une nature sauvage seul avec ma compagne, \u00e0 cette heure entre chien et loup si particuli\u00e8re, j\u2019ai cette fois-ci senti l\u2019angoisse poindre – l\u2019angoisse d\u2019un petit humain sans refuge \u00e0 la merci de l\u2019immensit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

La montagne a cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 nous renvoyer \u00e0 notre finitude d\u2019\u00eatre humain. Bien s\u00fbr, lorsque tout va bien, que nous randonnons sur les sentiers balis\u00e9s en discutant \u00e0 b\u00e2ton rompu, ou que nous d\u00e9valons les chemins \u00e0 dos de v\u00e9lo tout terrain en sautant les obstacles avec l\u2019excitation de l\u2019aventure et la ma\u00eetrise de notre v\u00e9hicule, nous pouvons avoir l\u2019illusion que nous sommes invincibles. Immortels, m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Mais voil\u00e0 qu\u2019un grain arrive, que l\u2019on prend conscience que l\u2019on s\u2019est \u00e9gar\u00e9, que la nuit tombe d\u2019un coup. Alors notre perception change du tout au tout. Nous voici projet\u00e9s d\u2019une insouciance l\u00e9g\u00e8re vers la gravit\u00e9 de notre fin. Et si nous nous retrouvions coinc\u00e9s ici dans le froid et la noirceur de la nuit ? Et si notre pied ou notre pneu glissait dans un ravin ?<\/p>\n

D\u00e8s lors, nous cherchons \u00e0 nous rassurer. En vain : une fois ce sentiment n\u00e9, rien n\u2019y fait. Le seul moyen de retrouver la paix, c\u2019est de nous tirer de ce mauvais pas. Pour cette fois. Ou bien de nous r\u00e9fugier dans plus grand que soi.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est exactement la base du chemin de la Grande Perfection. Cette tradition qui, comme toutes les grandes traditions de l\u2019humanit\u00e9, part d\u2019un constat indiscutable : tout \u00eatre humain est n\u00e9, et va donc mourir. Durant la vie, nous pouvons trouver des refuges temporaires \u00e0 ce savoir inn\u00e9 qui nous accompagne sans cesse. Mais il suffit d\u2019un tour en montagne, m\u00eame sans danger – juste l\u2019observation de la majest\u00e9, de la puissance tellurique de ces masses rocheuses – pour nous rappeler la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de notre condition d\u2019\u00eatre humain.<\/p>\n

Il n\u2019y a en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 qu\u2019un seul refuge inn\u00e9 : celui de notre nature fondamentale, qu\u2019on peut parfois approcher dans notre quotidien et que le chemin du Dzogch\u00e8n propose de r\u00e9aliser pleinement.<\/p>\n

Une fois identifi\u00e9e (ce que la Grande Perfection appelle la pr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 la nature de l\u2019esprit), cette nature primordiale devient notre refuge. Refuge, car elle est au centre de tout notre \u00eatre, de toute notre existence, et qu\u2019elle brille comme une maisonn\u00e9e isol\u00e9e dans la nuit ; alors on y revient naturellement comme l\u2019enfant \u00e9gar\u00e9 un jour de march\u00e9 revient dans le giron de sa m\u00e8re. Refuge, car le mental ne peut ni la saisir ni la comprendre, ce qui lui conf\u00e8re un caract\u00e8re immuable et intemporel, \u00e0 l\u2019abri de tous les mouvements \u00e9motionnels et de toutes les croyances transitoires. Refuge, car elle est aussi indestructible que le diamant et que rien n\u2019y personne, pas m\u00eame nous, pouvons ne serait-ce que la rayer.<\/p>\n

Exp\u00e9rimentant tout cela directement lors du premier contact avec notre nature primordiale, et r\u00e9p\u00e9tant encore et encore cette rencontre, nous pouvons \u00e0 chaque fois nous y abandonner avec la m\u00eame confiance qu\u2019un enfant de sept ans perdu dans la montagne le fait avec ses parents\u2026.<\/p>\n

\u2026un peu comme ma petite aventure en famille dans les Alpes suisses o\u00f9, tremp\u00e9s et \u00e0 la nuit tomb\u00e9e, nous avons finalement trouv\u00e9 sur notre chemin une maison habit\u00e9e par un couple tr\u00e8s gentil, qui nous ont offert un abri sec et chaud\u2026 avec une tarte aux myrtilles qui sortait du four.<\/p>\n
