Nuit \u00e9toil\u00e9e<\/span><\/h2>\n

L\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 est une saison propice \u00e0 l\u2019observation du ciel \u00e9toil\u00e9. Juste apr\u00e8s le coucher du soleil et sa radiance aux tons rouges, au moment de l\u2019heure bleue o\u00f9, sous la ligne d\u2019horizon, l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re s\u2019emplit d\u2019un bleu profond, \u00e9merge dans le ciel la premi\u00e8re \u00e9toile, V\u00e9nus, celle du berger. Puis viennent Jupiter, les trois \u00ab\u00a0Rois Mages\u00a0\u00bb de la ceinture d\u2019Orion, et, si le ciel est clair, c\u2019est peu \u00e0 peu la voie lact\u00e9e tout enti\u00e8re qui s\u2019offre \u00e0 nos yeux \u00e9merveill\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

La contemplation du ciel fait partie de la tradition dzogch\u00e8n. On la retrouve dans les pratiques de Trekch\u00f6 et Th\u00f6g\u00e4l. De jour, devant un ciel bleu sans nuage, elle invite, en nous plongeant dans son infinitude, \u00e0 prendre conscience de l\u2019aspect non duel de notre existence et \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser notre nature primordiale. De nuit, c\u2019est la lumi\u00e8re des \u00e9toiles et de la lune qui prennent le relais pour qui a re\u00e7u les instructions ad\u00e9quates, transmises de bouche \u00e0 oreille et de ma\u00eetre \u00e0 disciple, pour que nous puissions r\u00e9aliser le scintillement lumineux naturel de notre esprit. Pratiqu\u00e9e lors des retraites, la contemplation du ciel se faisait traditionnellement dans les ermitages en montagne. L\u00e0, tout au sommet, alors que le ciel semble pouvoir se toucher du bout des doigts, sous une nuit fra\u00eeche et un ciel pur, il suffisait de lever la t\u00eate et d\u2019appliquer les instructions re\u00e7ues.<\/p>\n

L\u2019air de la montagne est doux ce soir et une brise l\u00e9g\u00e8re s\u2019enroule autour de moi. Mon sac sur le dos, ce sont ces histoires traditionnelles, comme celle de Patr\u00fcl Rinpoche, un grand ma\u00eetre dzogch\u00e8n tib\u00e9tain du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, qui pr\u00e9senta \u00e0 son \u00e9l\u00e8ve la nature de l\u2019esprit en lui montrant le ciel \u00e9toil\u00e9, qui me reviennent, alors que j\u2019avance sur un chemin de montagne. Cette nuit, j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de bivouaquer. La mont\u00e9e prend un peu plus de temps que pr\u00e9vu. Ralentie par le poids de mon sac, je me demande si cette tente, qui p\u00e8se si lourd, \u00e9tait vraiment n\u00e9cessaire alors que l\u2019id\u00e9e \u00e9tait de dormir \u00e0 la belle \u00e9toile. La mont\u00e9e tire sur les jambes et alors que l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re se teinte de rouge, je comprends que je suis en train de rater le coucher du soleil. Je me rattraperai apr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

Mon bivouac est enfin install\u00e9 et moi aussi. La nuit tombe. Et la premi\u00e8re \u00e9toile apparait. La t\u00eate lev\u00e9e vers le ciel, j\u2019attends le d\u00e9ploiement des constellations que j\u2019ai r\u00e9vis\u00e9es sur ma carte du ciel avant de venir\u00a0: \u00a0Grande Ourse et Petite Ourse, Cassiop\u00e9e, Lyre et Cygne\u2026 Mais la brise souffle de plus en plus fort. Dans le ciel, les nuages noirs s\u2019amoncellent. Il a fait chaud derni\u00e8rement et en guise de vo\u00fbte c\u00e9leste, ce sont des nuages orageux qui arrivent sans jamais \u00e9clater.<\/p>\n

Me voici plong\u00e9e dans le noir, sans visibilit\u00e9, et je n\u2019ai m\u00eame pas pens\u00e9 \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier la pile de ma lampe torche qui vient de rendre l\u2019\u00e2me. Pas de spectacle cette nuit, mais les sons qui envahissent l\u2019espace. Quelques craquements ici et l\u00e0. Et la pens\u00e9e s\u2019emballe. Impossible de dormir car, si les y\u00e9tis n\u2019existent pas dans nos contr\u00e9es, rien n\u2019est moins s\u00fbr en ce qui concerne les loups-garous<\/a>. J\u2019\u00e9tais venue voir le ciel et c\u2019est un tout autre univers, bien habit\u00e9, qui se r\u00e9v\u00e8le. D\u2019autres histoires viennent \u00e0 moi, celles des pratiques dans les charniers. \u00ab\u00a0Voyons\u00a0\u00bb, me dis-je, \u00ab\u00a0Si tu as peur ici, pense \u00e0 ces maitres qui affrontaient les dakinis f\u00e9roces au milieu des corps d\u00e9compos\u00e9s\u2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Le vent forcit de plus en plus. Il s\u2019engouffre dans les arbres et fait s\u2019envoler la tente que j\u2019avais mal fix\u00e9e, puis il s\u2019arr\u00eate d\u2019un coup, brusquement. Quelques hululements de chouette et puis plus rien. Aux aguets, je tends encore l\u2019oreille. Le son du silence emplit l\u2019espace. Il emplit mon corps comme il emplit l\u2019univers tout entier, abolissant toute id\u00e9e de s\u00e9paration. Soudain, sous mes yeux, la vo\u00fbte c\u00e9leste appara\u00eet magiquement, extraordinaire, vivante, sans limite. Incessant ballet de points lumineux sans origine ni direction.<\/p>\n

Combien de temps s\u2019est \u00e9coul\u00e9 avant que l\u2019aube ne se l\u00e8ve et que la pluie ne s\u2019abatte sur moi\u00a0? Je n\u2019en ai aucune id\u00e9e. Je sais juste que je n\u2019ai pas dormi de la nuit, absorb\u00e9e par la beaut\u00e9 du spectacle qui s\u2019est offert \u00e0 moi.<\/p>\n

Mon sac sur le dos, tremp\u00e9e par la pluie mais le c\u0153ur encore boulevers\u00e9, je redescends le chemin que j\u2019avais gravi la veille. Devant moi, la silhouette d\u2019un berger, immobile, veille. Passant devant lui, je m\u2019arr\u00eate et ne peux m\u2019emp\u00eacher de lui demander\u00a0: \u00ab Vous avez vu le ciel cette nuit, le ballet de ces \u00e9toiles extraordinaires\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb. \u00ab\u00a0Le ciel est rest\u00e9 couvert par les nuages toute la nuit.\u00a0\u00bb me r\u00e9pond-il avec un sourire amus\u00e9, plongeant dans mes yeux son regard profond comme un lac sans fin.<\/p>\n

Alors que je poursuis mon chemin, perplexe, une question tourne dans ma t\u00eate\u00a0: si le ciel est rest\u00e9 couvert toute la nuit, alors qu\u2019ai-je contempl\u00e9\u00a0?\u00a0Cet espace \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 si extraordinaire, vivante, lumineuse, sans limite, peut-il \u00eatre celui de mon propre esprit, le ciel de ma nature primordiale ?<\/p>\n

La pluie cesse d\u2019un coup, comme elle a commenc\u00e9. Surprise, je l\u00e8ve la t\u00eate et mon regard se pose sur le ciel bleu, immense et limpide, qui se d\u00e9voile maintenant. Dans le son du silence, tout se suspend \u00e0 nouveau. Puis une \u00e9vidence \u00e9merge\u00a0: il faudra retourner l\u00e0-haut, pour en refaire encore et encore l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la certitude.<\/p>\n

Juste apr\u00e8s le coucher du soleil et sa radiance aux tons rouges, au moment de l\u2019heure bleue o\u00f9, sous la ligne d\u2019horizon, l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re s\u2019emplit d\u2019un bleu profond, \u00e9merge dans le ciel la premi\u00e8re \u00e9toile, V\u00e9nus, celle du berger.
