L’ignorance (ma rig pa<\/em>), c’est ignorer sa propre nature, vide et lumineuse, donc croire \u00e0 l’existence d’un soi et d’une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nale existants par eux-m\u00eames. C’est la non-pr\u00e9sence (ma)<\/em> \u00e0 ce qui est le plus imm\u00e9diat et le plus intime en nous : l’\u00e9vidence primordiale (rig pa<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, la Grande Perfection distingue trois modalit\u00e9s d’ignorance :<\/p>\n

    l’ignorance causale de la manifestation primordiale unique (bdag nyid gcig pa)<\/em> de la nature de l’esprit en tout ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne : l’ignorance causale est la m\u00e8re de tous nos tracas, la source de tous nos sc\u00e9narios illusoires, la non-connaissance de la base primordiale (ye gzhi<\/a><\/em>), mais c\u2019est \u00e9galement la pr\u00e9sence continuelle de l\u2019\u00e9vidence primordiale (rig pa) dans cette ignorance ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    l’ignorance inn\u00e9e ou “spontan\u00e9ment apparue” (lhan skyes ma rig pa<\/em>) : c’est la saisie d’un soi permanent, ma\u00eetre et possesseur de ses agr\u00e9gats \u2014 pourtant transitoires et sujets \u00e0 la destruction \u2014 entra\u00eenant la souffrance de renaissances sans fin ; une ignorance aveugle qui ne voit ni ne conna\u00eet ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    l’ignorance acquise ou “totalement imput\u00e9e” (kun brtags ma rig pa<\/em>) : c’est la vue conceptuelle erron\u00e9e consistant \u00e0 \u201clabelliser\u201d (brtags<\/em>) tous les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes \u2014 pourtant non-\u00e9tablis ou vides en essence et dont l’apparition est produite par la dualit\u00e9 du sujet-objet \u2014 comme existant par eux-m\u00eames ind\u00e9pendamment. Cette vue erron\u00e9e est “acquise” au sens o\u00f9 elle est apprise via<\/em> des syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs, culturels ou philosophiques, qui n’enseignent pas la co-production conditionn\u00e9e des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes. C\u2019est un aspect actif de l\u2019ignorance qui croit voir autre chose que ce qui est v\u00e9ritablement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
