Les tr\u00e9sors sont les enseignements cach\u00e9s, <a href=\"https:\/\/dzogchentoday.org\/fr\/les-lignees-terma\/\">les termas<\/a>, la plupart par Guru Rinpoch\u00e9 et Yeshe Tsogyal.<\/p>\n<p>Leurs d\u00e9couvreurs sont, la plupart du temps, des \u00e9manations de l\u2019un des vingt-cinq disciples principaux <a href=\"#down\"><strong>[1]<\/strong><\/a> de ce ma\u00eetre du 8\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, ou directement une \u00e9manation de ce dernier (et parfois une confluence).<\/p>\n<p>Un tert\u00f6n ne choisit donc pas d\u2019\u00eatre tert\u00f6n. Tout va d\u00e9pendre s\u2019il red\u00e9couvre, ou non, le ou les tr\u00e9sors dont Padmasambhava lui a confi\u00e9 la charge. Et c\u2019est l\u00e0 que \u00e7a se corse. Ces proph\u00e9ties indiquent comment, o\u00f9 et quand les tr\u00e9sors dont le tert\u00f6n a la charge doivent \u00eatre red\u00e9couverts, la personne qui doit apporter son soutien (une ou un consort, qui n\u2019est pas forc\u00e9ment physique, et dont seul un t\u00e9moin comme une m\u00e8che de cheveux ou un objet suffit), le d\u00e9tenteur qui va diffuser le terma, les principaux disciples, et encore d\u2019autres points qui varient selon les tr\u00e9sors. (Un article d\u00e9taill\u00e9 vous attend \u00e0 ce sujet.)<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9couverte des termas de la terre (tib. <em>sa gter<\/em>) suit un protocole d\u00e9fini par ce guide proph\u00e9tique : le tert\u00f6n doit r\u00e9aliser un certain nombre de pratiques pr\u00e9paratoires qui lui permettent de pr\u00e9parer son esprit et de v\u00e9rifier que le moment est bien venu pour la red\u00e9couverte.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, voici comme cela se passe en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral : le tert\u00f6n va \u00e0 l\u2019emplacement o\u00f9 le tr\u00e9sor a \u00e9t\u00e9 cach\u00e9 (un lac, un rocher, un pilier de temple, etc.), et accomplit une c\u00e9r\u00e9monie particuli\u00e8re avant de retirer le terma, par exemple en plongeant sa main dans un rocher, ou comme le fit P\u00e9ma Lingpa au M\u00e9bartso au Bhoutan, en s\u2019enfon\u00e7ant dans un lac muni d\u2019une lampe \u00e0 beurre allum\u00e9e, et en ressortissant avec un petit coffret contenant le cycle du Dzogch\u00e8n Longs\u00e8l, et la lampe \u00e0 beurre toujours allum\u00e9e !<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce cas, lorsque le terma est retir\u00e9, le tert\u00f6n remplace le tr\u00e9sor par un substitut afin de contenter le protecteur, et maintenir vivante la prosp\u00e9rit\u00e9 que la pr\u00e9sence du terma conf\u00e8re \u00e0 la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n<p>Car, que ce soit pour les termas de la terre ou de l\u2019esprit (tib. <em>dgongs gter<\/em>), un protecteur veille, lui aussi mandat\u00e9 par Guru Rinpoch\u00e9, pour prot\u00e9ger le tr\u00e9sor et \u00e9viter que n\u2019importe qui (ou presque) puisse le red\u00e9couvrir. Ce protecteur, non humain, joue un r\u00f4le crucial dans la red\u00e9couverte des termas. Dans certaines occasions, il peut m\u00eame aller jusqu\u2019\u00e0 d\u00e9placer des tr\u00e9sors pour permettre leur red\u00e9couverte. L\u2019apparition du terma permet au tert\u00f6n de refaire imm\u00e9diatement le lien avec l\u2019\u00e9tat de la pratique que Padmasambhava lui avait transmise.
