Le mot fran\u00e7ais \u00ab\u00a0ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne\u00a0\u00bb peut traduire plusieurs termes tib\u00e9tains – avec des connotations compl\u00e9mentaires. Un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne est ce qui appara\u00eet \u00e0 une conscience (nang wa<\/span>\/snang ba). Sans esprit, pas de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, car <\/span>sinon rien n\u2019est connu\u00a0– m\u00eame l\u2019id\u00e9e de quelque chose d\u2019inconnaissable par l\u2019esprit reste un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne mental pour l\u2019esprit. Ce dernier terme recouvre les consciences sensorielles et la conscience mentale\u00a0: le p\u00f4le connaissant et le p\u00f4le connu sont mutuellement d\u00e9pendants comme le montre le terme \u201cyul tch\u00e8n<\/span>\u201d qui signifie litt\u00e9ralement un \u00ab\u00a0possesseur d\u2019objet\u00a0\u00bb, tandis <\/span>qu\u2019un objet (yul) se d\u00e9finit comme \u00ab\u00a0ce qui est connu par la conscience\u00a0\u00bb. Les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes sont effectivement tout ce que l\u2019on peut exp\u00e9rimenter par les six consciences. Ils constituent ainsi les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de base de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 (skt. dharma, tib. ch\u00f6s) car ils tiennent (skt. dhar) leurs caract\u00e9ristiques propres. Enfin, l\u2019approche du Dzogch\u00e8n peut \u00eatre qualifi\u00e9e de ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nologique car elle fait des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 leur nature primordiale – la dharma<\/span>ta (skt.) <\/span>ch\u00f6<\/span>nyi<\/span>\/chos nyid<\/span> (tib.), soit la R\u00e9alit\u00e9 des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes<\/span>. Dans cette perspective ceux-ci sont les ornements (gy\u00e4n<\/span>\/rgyan) de souveraine manifestation<\/span> (thougdj\u00e9<\/span>\/thugs rje). Selon qu\u2019ils soient reconnus ou non dans leur nature, ils apparaissent comme \u201cpurs\u201d (ornements de compassion) ou \u201cimpurs\u201d (facteurs conditionn\u00e9s). <\/p>\n
