L’\u00e9t\u00e9 est de retour, et comme chaque ann\u00e9e, je me rends dans notre maison familiale dans le Sud de l\u2019Italie. Quelle joie de retrouver leur d\u00e9licieuse cuisine et leurs vins gorg\u00e9s de soleil ! Je me rem\u00e9more ces ann\u00e9es de bonheur o\u00f9 mon grand-p\u00e8re nous emmenait r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer la nasse qu’il avait pos\u00e9e la veille. \u00c0 chaque fois, la p\u00eache \u00e9tait miraculeuse. Il y avait aussi les sorties en bateau pour explorer la c\u00f4te et ces innombrables journ\u00e9es de farniente<\/em> \u00e0 la plage.<\/p>\n

Emport\u00e9 malgr\u00e9 moi par ce flot de souvenirs, voguant entre nostalgie douce et solastalgie, je me r\u00e9veille de la sieste dans mon vieux hamac d\u00e9lav\u00e9. Le d\u00e9cor a chang\u00e9. Les pins, jadis protecteurs, paraissent \u00e9puis\u00e9s, incapables d\u2019arr\u00eater la fournaise. L\u2019air est plus lourd, presque \u00e9touffant. Pris de vertige, je prends conscience que, toutes ces ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es au bord de la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, je les ai v\u00e9cues en surface, dans la qui\u00e9tude du familier. Comme une \u00e9vidence, je r\u00e9alise alors qu\u2019il est temps d\u2019explorer d\u2019autres dimensions de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, d\u2019aller plus en profondeur.<\/p>\n

Et soudain, ce vertige devient \u00e9lan : l\u2019appel d\u2019une plong\u00e9e dans les abysses inconnues de l\u2019oc\u00e9an !<\/p>\n

Suivant m\u00e9ticuleusement ses instructions, et m\u2019exer\u00e7ant \u00e0 diverses pratiques d\u2019approche, je me sens de plus en plus en confiance pour m\u2019immerger dans les vastes \u00e9tendues de la plaine abyssale.<\/p>\n

Largement inexplor\u00e9es, ses profondeurs regorgent de myst\u00e8res. Le yogi, plongeur solitaire, doit laisser sur le rivage ses rep\u00e8res et repr\u00e9sentations mentales pour affronter de nouvelles dimensions.<\/p>\n

Au fil de cette plong\u00e9e, je r\u00e9alise que m\u00eame dans l\u2019int\u00e9riorit\u00e9 des fonds marins les manifestations sont incessantes, la vie et les ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes g\u00e9ophysiques y demeurent remarquablement actifs. Au sein de cette dynamique continue, je m\u2019\u00e9gare, fascin\u00e9 par ces \u00eatres bioluminescents, translucides, qui se nourrissent de \u00ab\u00a0neige marine\u00a0\u00bb. Il m\u2019arrive \u00e9galement d\u2019\u00eatre totalement t\u00e9tanis\u00e9 suite \u00e0 un s\u00e9isme marin qui vient bouleverser mon apparent calme mental. A d\u2019autres moments encore, des cr\u00e9atures effrayantes se pr\u00e9sentent \u00e0 moi : le poisson-ogre\u00a0Anoplogaster cornuta<\/em><\/a>\u00a0aux dents pointues tellement disproportionn\u00e9es qu\u2019il n\u2019arrive m\u00eame pas \u00e0 fermer la bouche, ou encore\u00a0la baudroie \u00e9pineuse\u00a0Caulophryne jordani<\/em><\/a>\u00a0qui chasse \u00e0 l\u2019aff\u00fbt gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses filaments lui permettant de d\u00e9tecter le moindre mouvement.\u00a0Je me sens\u00a0traqu\u00e9, exasp\u00e9r\u00e9 par ces multiples repr\u00e9sentations n\u00e9vrotiques, et invoque tous les dieux pour pouvoir remonter \u00e0 la surface, oubliant les instructions essentielles de mon Divemaster<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nous reliant \u00e0 nouveau \u00e0 notre enseignant et reprenant ses instructions, nous retrouvons l\u2019\u00e9lan et la confiance pour poursuivre notre immersion \u00e0 travers la vaste plaine abyssale. S\u2019\u00e9tendant sur plus de 307 millions de km2<\/a>, il nous faut garder la vigilance et nous armer de patience. Nombreux sont ceux qui t\u00e9moignent de leur chute dans les fosses sous-marines, prisonniers pendant de longues ann\u00e9es d\u2019un huis clos en eau trouble\u2026<\/p>\n

Plus l\u2019absorption devient profonde, plus les rep\u00e8res se d\u00e9sagr\u00e8gent, la substantialit\u00e9 du corps se fait plus discr\u00e8te, le silence prend place.\u00a0C\u2019est le temps de la contemplation.
