Elle est \u00e9galement appel\u00e9e <em>Y\u0101m HaM\u00e9la\u1e25<\/em> en h\u00e9breu, c\u2019est \u00e0 dire la \u00ab Mer de Sel \u00bb et Bahr-L\u00fbt \u00ab mer de Loth \u00bb en arabe et est situ\u00e9e entre Isra\u00ebl, la Jordanie et la Palestine comme une sorte de trait d\u2019union. \u00c0 cause de sa forte salinit\u00e9 (pr\u00e8s de 27,5% alors que la plupart des mers du globe a une salinit\u00e9 de 2 \u00e0 4%) et la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019\u00e9lectrolytes toxiques, aucun poisson ou aucune algue macroscopique ne peuvent y subsister. Elle est donc morte\u2026 en apparence. Non seulement elle est morte, mais elle est en train de mourir\u00a0! Depuis les ann\u00e9es 1970, la Mer Morte a perdu le tiers de sa superficie et cela continue. Comme beaucoup d\u2019autres lieux aquatiques ou d\u2019autres \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes du monde, elle est en train de dispara\u00eetre, ne pouvant s\u2019adapter au rythme de la transformation de l\u2019environnement de la plan\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<p>Et pourtant. Cette fameuse Mer Morte sur laquelle vous pouvez flotter naturellement sans aucun effort mais qui, quand vous en sortez, vous transforme en biscuit ap\u00e9ro totalement sal\u00e9 (j\u2019en ai fait l\u2019exp\u00e9rience), n\u2019est morte qu\u2019en apparence car elle aussi abrite la vie. En effet, des organismes microscopiques y vivent normalement. Pourtant, pour le Dzogch\u00e8n, opposer vie et mort est un non-sens car il est dit que la mort fait partie de la vie et que la vie est le prolongement de la mort. Les deux font partie du cycle illusoire de l\u2019existence. C\u2019est un processus infini, une danse naturelle sans fin dans laquelle la mort succ\u00e8de \u00e0 la vie en un nombre illimit\u00e9 d\u2019existences.<\/p>\n<p>Nous opposons habituellement la mort \u00e0 la vie car notre peur de la premi\u00e8re nous fait nous tourner r\u00e9solument vers la seconde. Pourtant, la Grande Perfection questionne ce point : pourquoi craindre la mort puisqu\u2019elle est vie \u00e9galement\u00a0? Dans la tradition, la vie est un espace interm\u00e9diaire situ\u00e9 entre naissance et mort. Un autre espace interm\u00e9diaire est celui du r\u00eave. Et un autre encore est celui de la mort, situ\u00e9 entre celle-ci et la prochaine naissance. Notre vie actuelle et toutes celles qui viendront potentiellement apr\u00e8s n\u2019en seront que plus pr\u00e9cieuses\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>Et m\u00eame si nous ne croyons pas en cette ronde incessante de vies et de morts, ne serait-ce pas int\u00e9ressant pour le futur de nos enfants de nous poser cette question\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Et si<\/strong> je revenais dans vingt ans, dans un nouveau corps, quelle serait mon attitude aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0?
