Celle plut\u00f4t passive o\u00f9 le ma\u00eetre repr\u00e9sente un id\u00e9al de sagesse, de bienveillance et de protection infaillible, confortant l\u2019id\u00e9e de s\u2019en remettre \u00e0 une \u00ab\u00a0force\u00a0\u00bb sup\u00e9rieure. Et, \u00e0 l\u2019inverse, celle impr\u00e9gn\u00e9e de la r\u00e9cente d\u00e9sacralisation des figures d\u2019autorit\u00e9 spirituelle qui tend \u00e0 exclure toute influence ext\u00e9rieure \u00e0 sa qu\u00eate personnelle et spirituelle.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Que faire de telles tendances contradictoires lorsque l\u2019on souhaite arpenter un chemin spirituel comme le Dzogch\u00e8n sur lequel la figure du ma\u00eetre est essentielle\u00a0? Qui plus est quand les termes peu familiers de g<em>ourou<\/em> (g<em>uru<\/em>) ou de <em>lama<\/em> sont employ\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9signer. Le terme <em>gourou,<\/em> qui est rest\u00e9 usuel dans la tradition du Dzogch\u00e8n, a d\u2019ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 traduit en tib\u00e9tain par <em>Lama<\/em>, qui signifie \u00ab\u00a0<em>insurpassable<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb. Mila Khy\u00e8nts\u00e9 Rinpoch\u00e9 nous pr\u00e9cisait \u00e9galement lors d\u2019un <em>shedra<\/em> (coll\u00e8ge d\u2019\u00e9tudes) que cet aspect de pesanteur se rapporte au fait que le ma\u00eetre est \u00ab\u00a0<em>charg\u00e9 des b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions<\/em> (de la lign\u00e9e)\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que ces termes \u00e9voquent un grand respect, on nous enseigne dans la Grande Perfection que m\u00eame si de nombreux ma\u00eetres sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s pour leurs qualit\u00e9s, la profondeur de leur enseignement et leurs r\u00e9alisations, ils ou elles ne repr\u00e9senteront pas forc\u00e9ment \u00ab\u00a0le\u00a0\u00bb ma\u00eetre sur le chemin que nous arpentons. Un ma\u00eetre n\u2019est pas le <em>Lama<\/em> par lui-m\u00eame, il le sera en fonction des qualit\u00e9s qui pourront \u00eatre \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9voil\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb et, r\u00e9ciproquement, reconnues.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Cette rencontre essentielle et la relation qui en d\u00e9coulera d\u00e9pendront de multiples facteurs li\u00e9s \u00e0 nos besoins, obstacles et liens du pass\u00e9.
