Lancer le marteau\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Irlande pr\u00e9-chr\u00e9tienne. 2000 ans avant notre \u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Les Jeux de Tailteann sont lanc\u00e9s \u00e0 Tara, la capitale-sanctuaire de l\u2019Irlande ancienne, par le dieu Lugh. Dieu, roi, guerrier, artiste, savant et sauveur, Lugh appartient au groupe surnaturel des Tuatha D\u00e9 Danann, venus apporter aux hommes le savoir \u00e0 travers cinq objets \u00e0 la puissance merveilleuse : la lance, le chaudron, la massue, l\u2019\u00e9p\u00e9e et la pierre de couronnement de Fal.<\/p>\n

Lugh rend hommage, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces jeux, \u00e0 sa m\u00e8re adoptive, Tailtiu, apparent\u00e9e \u00e0 la Terre M\u00e8re. Tailtiu est morte d\u2019\u00e9puisement apr\u00e8s avoir d\u00e9frich\u00e9 les plaines d\u2019Irlande pour les adapter \u00e0 l\u2019agriculture, et les jeux sont donc ses fun\u00e9railles.<\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agit, on le voit, d\u2019un mythe de fertilit\u00e9, d\u2019abondance : il c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la moisson, l\u2019\u00e9panouissement des travaux des hommes alli\u00e9s \u00e0 la force de la nature. On pense que les jeux \u00e9taient traditionnellement f\u00eat\u00e9s les deux derni\u00e8res semaines de juillet.<\/p>\n

Double est donc cet \u00e9v\u00e8nement, \u00e0 la fois fun\u00e9railles et festival, o\u00f9 toutes les hostilit\u00e9s guerri\u00e8res, mais aussi tous les rites religieux, sont suspendus. C\u2019est un temps de paix. On y vient rencontrer des clans, r\u00e9gler des conflits et s\u2019y marier ; c\u2019est l\u2019occasion de joutes et de banquets, de courses de chevaux et de comp\u00e9titions athl\u00e9tiques : boxe, tir-\u00e0-l\u2019arc, lutte, saut en hauteur, escrime, nage, on f\u00eate les talents et capacit\u00e9s surhumaines des humains, on y mesure ce qui d\u00e9passe le normal, l\u2019entendu, l\u2019acquis, on y estime la d\u00e9mesure, on y guette l\u2019inattendu.<\/p>\n

Parmi tous les gens rendus en cet endroit, il y a Cuchulainn, h\u00e9ros mythique de l\u2019Irlande, \u2014 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9 par la magicienne Scathach en \u00c9cosse, et plus tard il descendra au Sidh, le pays des dieux o\u00f9 le temps est arr\u00eat\u00e9, mais n\u2019anticipons pas. Pour l\u2019instant, Cuchulainn brandit un essieu de chariot, avec une roue encore accroch\u00e9e dessus, c\u2019est le premier \u00ab marteau \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Il faut imaginer une de ces grands essieux lourds de chariot \u00e0 bestiaux, quelque chose d\u2019impossible \u00e0 soulever. Mais Cuchulainn le soul\u00e8ve quand m\u00eame, le fait tournoyer autour de lui, tournoyer, et tournoyer encore, et, par la force d\u2019inertie, il se met \u00e0 tournoyer lui-m\u00eame avec, de tout son corps et au bout de quelques tours, il finit par le l\u00e2cher, et le barreau avec sa roue part, loin, loin, il vole, vole, il ne retombera jamais, jamais, il vole trop vite et trop loin pour qu\u2019on sache o\u00f9 il retombera, \u2014 peut-\u00eatre est-il rest\u00e9 accroch\u00e9 aux cieux,\u2014 il a disparu dans les nuages, il ne peut plus retomber, il est au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019effort, il s\u2019est arrach\u00e9 \u00e0 toutes les pesanteurs, il est libre de toute loi, projectile de libert\u00e9 et de puissance, immense, sid\u00e9rant, indomptable, v\u00e9loce, f\u00e9roce, agile, il s\u2019enfonce dans l\u2019infini, il a disparu des regards !<\/p>\n

C\u2019est le premier lancer de marteau de l\u2019histoire, c\u2019est Cuchulainn qui l\u2019invente.<\/p>\n

Ce premier lancer refl\u00e8te la pratique Dzogch\u00e8n. Dans le festival doux-amer des activit\u00e9s humaines, entre mariages et fun\u00e9railles, il faut r\u00e9-inventer quelque chose qui n\u2019existe pas encore et qui pourtant est d\u00e9j\u00e0 l\u00e0 : un barreau de roue, pris d\u2019un chariot, qui deviendra bient\u00f4t l\u2019objet \u00e0 lancer, le marteau de la pratique spirituelle, l\u2019objet transitionnel qui nous permet de nous transformer, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pouvoir l\u2019abandonner.<\/p>\n

Au d\u00e9but, il n\u2019est que l\u2019objet du quotidien<\/em>, anodin. Rude, trop lourd. Il n\u2019est pas soulevable, mais il faut le soulever. Une fois soulev\u00e9, on ne voit pas comment on le lancerait, alors il faut s\u2019entra\u00eener, le faire tourner autour de soi. C\u2019est alors un objet d\u2019\u00e9preuve.<\/em> Avec effort, on le fait tourner, lentement. \u00c7a finit par tourner. Et puis plus vite, plus fort. De plus en plus vite, de plus en plus fort. Il devient un objet d\u2019exploit<\/em>. \u00c7a tourne autour du corps. Et puis soudain, c\u2019est tout soi qui est entra\u00een\u00e9, autour du marteau, autour du poids ; le soi n\u2019y p\u00e8se plus son poids, il tourne avec le marteau de la pratique, plus vite, plus fort, sans plus aucun effort. Alors, il n\u2019y a plus<\/em> d\u2019objet qui serait utilis\u00e9 par un soi<\/em>. Tout l\u2019\u00eatre y est engag\u00e9, dans ce mouvement qui tourne, emportant toute la vision du festival, des mariages et des fun\u00e9railles du soi. Et voil\u00e0 que le poids y fait tellement vitesse, \u2014 c\u2019est tellement fort \u2014 qu\u2019alors, il n\u2019y a plus qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u00e2cher.<\/p>\n
