Un voyage de h\u00e9ros commence toujours de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re\u00a0: le personnage, qui n\u2019est pas encore un h\u00e9ros, est confortablement install\u00e9 dans son fauteuil. M\u00eame si son fauteuil est inconfortable, il y est tr\u00e8s attach\u00e9, car il y a ses habitudes. Puis, un jour, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement vient bousculer sa vie. Il \u00e9branle si fort, si profond\u00e9ment, les certitudes du personnage, que celui-ci n\u2019a pas d\u2019autre choix que de se lever de son fauteuil\u2026 pour partir \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte du monde inconnu qui s\u2019ouvre \u00e0 lui.<\/p>\n

Dans le voyage du h\u00e9ros Dzogch\u00e8n, l\u2019appel \u00e0 l\u2019aventure d\u00e9marre avec une rencontre, celle avec quelqu\u2019un qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 parti en exploration avant lui et qui lui montre, directement, ce qu\u2019il y a trouv\u00e9\u00a0: la nature vide et lumineuse de l\u2019esprit. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, c\u2019est ce qu\u2019on appelle dans la tradition, l\u2019introduction \u00e0 la nature de l\u2019esprit, le Rigp\u00e9 Ts\u00e8l Wang<\/em>. C\u2019est l\u2019entr\u00e9e dans la vue, la pr\u00e9sentation directe de Rigpa<\/em> [1]<\/strong><\/a>,<\/p>\n

le point de d\u00e9part du voyage. Cette rencontre, c\u2019est celle avec l\u2019ami de bien<\/em>, celui qui va le guider pendant tout le voyage.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ami de bien<\/em>, c\u2019est lui qui, au seuil du monde inconnu, donne \u00e0 l\u2019apprenti h\u00e9ros son \u00e9quipement d\u2019exploration, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire les instructions essentielles sur l\u2019esprit. Mais s\u2019il conna\u00eet la carte routi\u00e8re du voyage, ce n\u2019est pas pour autant qu\u2019il va la donner d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but au voyageur. L\u2019ami de bien est l\u00e0 pour le guider, mais pas pour faire l\u2019exploration \u00e0 sa place.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0L\u2019\u00e9quipement est essentiel, mais il n\u2019est pas suffisant si le voyageur ne sait pas pourquoi il part\u00a0\u00bb, dit l\u2019ami de bien\u00a0\u00e0 l\u2019apprenti h\u00e9ros qui s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 franchir le seuil du monde inconnu. \u00ab\u00a0Pas d\u2019aventure, sans qu\u00eate \u00bb dirait Joseph Campbell<\/em>, un sp\u00e9cialiste des mythes. \u00ab\u00a0Pas de qu\u00eate, sans motivation\u00a0\u00bb, dit encore l\u2019ami de bien. Et pour cela, il faut commencer par s\u2019asseoir\u2026 S\u2019asseoir pour trouver la motivation primordiale, la bodhicitta<\/em> (prononcer boditchita)\u00a0:<\/em> celle de se lib\u00e9rer de la souffrance engendr\u00e9e par la non-connaissance de la v\u00e9ritable nature de son esprit, et par l\u00e0-m\u00eame aider tous les \u00eatres \u00e0 se lib\u00e9rer. S\u2019asseoir, ensuite, pour partir \u00e0 l\u2019exploration de son esprit en se rappelant toujours<\/em> de cette motivation primordiale.<\/p>\n

La bodhicitta<\/em>,\u201c l\u2019esprit pur et parfait\u201d,<\/em> c\u2019est le pr\u00e9requis avant toute pratique, toute m\u00e9ditation\u00a0; le pilier du voyage, la clef du monde inconnu. C\u2019est la premi\u00e8re qu\u00eate de l\u2019apprenti h\u00e9ros, qui, pour la trouver, doit s\u2019asseoir, encore, encore, et encore\u2026<\/p>\n

des grands ma\u00eetres pour s\u2019en rendre compte\u2026 Combien de tours \u00e0 plusieurs \u00e9tages, Milar\u00e9pa, un yogi tib\u00e9tain du 11\u00e8me si\u00e8cle a-t-il du \u00e9difier pour renforcer sa motivation aupr\u00e8s de son ma\u00eetre Marpa\u00a0? Combien de difficult\u00e9s, Sera Khandro, une grande pratiquante du 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle, a-t-elle d\u00fb surmonter, elle qui \u00e9crit au d\u00e9but de son autobiographie\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Les moindres qualit\u00e9s issues de l\u2019\u00e9tude, de la contemplation et de la m\u00e9ditation me font d\u00e9faut, Et je suis constamment assaillie par la paresse et la distraction. Qu\u2019une personne aussi indigne \u00e9crive une histoire profonde sur l\u2019\u00e9mergence d\u2019excellents enseignements et de nobles qualit\u00e9s, Voil\u00e0 qui fait penser \u00e0 un lotus poussant dans le ciel, une impossibilit\u00e9 notoire.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Du courage, il en faut \u00e0 l\u2019apprenti h\u00e9ros. Certains maitres n\u2019h\u00e9sitent pas d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 employer la mani\u00e8re forte pour faire avancer plus vite leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves\u00a0: un lancer de pierre sur la t\u00eate par ici, un PHET retentissant par-l\u00e0, un rire tonitruant alors que l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve, fier de lui, croit \u00eatre all\u00e9 au bout de son exploration\u2026 Dans le monde tib\u00e9tain, il y a un terme qui englobe \u00e0 la fois les notions de h\u00e9ros et de guerrier pour parler des pratiquantes et pratiquants courageux et sans peur\u00a0: \u2018Pamo et Pawo\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Le courage vient de la motivation. C\u2019est la motivation qui permet d\u2019aller au-del\u00e0 de la peur. Mais ce qu\u2019est en train de d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019apprenti h\u00e9ros alors qu\u2019il s\u2019assoit, et s\u2019assoit, et s\u2019assoit encore, est encore plus extraordinaire\u00a0: c\u2019est au sein de la bodhicitta<\/em>, le rayonnement de la nature de son propre esprit, que l\u2019on devient une Pamo ou un Pawo.<\/p>\n
