Des v<\/span>acances dans la nature de l\u2019esprit<\/span><\/h2>\n

Le vent du large, charg\u00e9 d\u2019humidit\u00e9 et d\u2019infini, qui caresse le visage. Les milliers de particules de sable qui br\u00fblent les pieds avant qu\u2019ils ne soient rafraichis et l\u00e9g\u00e8rement aspir\u00e9s par une flaque d\u2019eau de mer. Au-dessus de la t\u00eate, la \u00ab sereine ironie \u00bb de l\u2019\u00ab \u00e9ternel azur \u00bb[1]<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0Une boisson p\u00e9tillante sur-sucr\u00e9e dont le go\u00fbt citron si intens\u00e9ment – si merveilleusement – chimique irradie jusqu\u2019au fond de la gorge. Une odeur caram\u00e9lis\u00e9e qui \u00e9voque des souvenirs d\u2019enfance. Les cris des jeux dispers\u00e9s par l\u2019espace. Ces lunettes teint\u00e9es qui apaisent le feu solaire tout en d\u00e9r\u00e9alisant doucement le spectacle de cette plage et de ses humains en maillots de bain. Ceux-ci offrent au regard une belle vari\u00e9t\u00e9 chromatique\u00a0: leurs \u00e9pidermes t\u00e9moignent des stades de cuisson plus ou moins avanc\u00e9s selon le temps pass\u00e9 en vacances<\/span>. Tout comme mon esprit \u2013 flottant d\u2019une sensation \u00e0 l\u2019autre – \u00e0 ce moment est vacant<\/span>. Ces deux termes nous viennent du latin vacare\u00a0<\/span>et \u00e9voquent le vide laiss\u00e9 par l\u2019arr\u00eat temporaire de l\u2019activit\u00e9 professionnelle. Vide d\u00e9primant pour les workaholics<\/span>, mais souvent appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 par les autres. Peut-\u00eatre parce qu\u2019il permet d\u2019\u00eatre disponible de mani\u00e8re l\u00e9g\u00e8re, gratuite et h\u00e9donique \u00e0 nos sensations<\/span> sans avoir \u00e0 en faire d\u2019embl\u00e9e quelque chose d\u2019utile. Les premiers rayons du levant me r\u00e9veillent de leurs ors doux et puissants. Pendant un moment je ne sais trop si c\u2019est un r\u00eave ou la r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Je m\u2019assieds dans mon lit pour commencer la m\u00e9ditation, en m\u00eame temps que la fraicheur et la senteur bois\u00e9e de la cabane s\u2019imposent \u00e0 moi, me disant que je ne suis pas dans mon lieu de vie habituel mais en train de mettre \u00e0 profit mes vacances pour faire une retraite. Je sens l\u2019\u00e9nergie matinale du corps – diff\u00e9rente de celle du soir –\u00a0m\u00eame si je suis encore un peu engourdi. Apr\u00e8s quelque temps, je me l\u00e8ve, ouvre la fen\u00eatre et d\u00e9couvre –\u00a0 depuis le sommet de la colline o\u00f9 se tient mon ermitage temporaire \u2013 une for\u00eat aux mille nuances dor\u00e9es. En \u00e9mane le chant merveilleux d\u2019un ch\u0153ur aussi incroyablement multiple et divers qu\u2019invisible. En effet, les habitants ail\u00e9s de ce lieu <\/span>viennent de se r\u00e9veiller, eux aussi, et c\u2019est comme si l\u2019espace vide et lumineux du ciel \u00e9tait c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 par ses familiers. En retraite, sans travail \u00e0 faire, sans personne \u00e0 qui parler, sans t\u00e9l\u00e9phone portable, les sensations prennent beaucoup de place car rien ne vient <\/span>nous<\/span> en distraire. Et cela fait partie de la retraite : les laisser se d\u00e9ployer sans rien en faire de sp\u00e9cial. Ni fixation, ni rejet. Les laisser \u00eatre ce qu\u2019elles sont. Les sensations sont toujours ainsi\u2026 pas juste en vacances, pas juste en m\u00e9ditation, pas juste en retraite\u2026 Seulement, d\u2019habitude, nous identifions ces sensations, nous les ramenons \u00e0 des concepts : cette forme \u00e0 quatre pieds est celle d\u2019une table, cet objet lisse et arrondi que je sens dans ma main est une tasse, la lumi\u00e8re verte qui s\u2019allume devant moi est plaisante car il signifie que je peux passer. Autrement dit des sensations<\/em> nous faisons des concepts<\/em>. Nous mettons \u00e0 distance la sensation pure, dans sa richesse et sa nouveaut\u00e9 infinie, pour lui pr\u00e9f\u00e9rer les rep\u00e8res fig\u00e9s habituels des concepts. Si utiles qu\u2019ils soient d\u2019un point de vue pragmatique, ils ne sont in fine<\/em> qu\u2019une repr\u00e9sentation du r\u00e9el et non le r\u00e9el lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Ce filtre conceptuel masque ce que la pratique du Dzogch\u00e8n r\u00e9v\u00e8le\u00a0: lorsque l\u2019on est pleinement pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 la sensation sans l\u2019alourdir de commentaires ou de ratiocinations, elle appara\u00eet comme<\/p>\n

La pratique nous aide \u00e0 \u00e9tablir et stabiliser cette reconnaissance en tout temps, lieux et circonstances et nous offre ainsi des vacances dans le sens le plus profond du mot.
