Le papillon et le garuda
<\/span><\/h2>\n

L\u2019effet papillon est un joli nom pour un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne d\u00e9crit par les physiciens il y a quelques d\u00e9cennies : le chaos. Le principe de ces \u201c\u00e9quations chaotiques\u201d est qu\u2019elles donnent un r\u00e9sultat radicalement diff\u00e9rent selon les donn\u00e9es de d\u00e9part. Une infime variation dans les conditions initiales (le battement d\u2019aile d\u2019un papillon dans la for\u00eat amazonienne) peut d\u00e9clencher une temp\u00eate cyclonique dans l\u2019Atlantique nord.<\/p>\n

A l\u2019\u00e9poque de cette d\u00e9couverte, la communaut\u00e9 scientifique a commenc\u00e9 a en voir partout \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre, jusque dans les heures de passage des bus \u00e0 Mexico en fonction du nombre de personnes qui attendent aux arr\u00eats. Puis elle s\u2019est ravis\u00e9e. D\u2019accord, le chaos est tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sent dans la nature, mais on avait peut-\u00eatre pouss\u00e9 le bouchon un peu loin.<\/p>\n

Pourtant, il est facile d\u2019imaginer que nos vies sont gouvern\u00e9es par ces \u00e9quations chaotiques. Qui peut pr\u00e9voir avec certitude ce qui va arriver l\u2019an prochain, le mois qui vient, la minute suivante ? Les causes et leurs effets sont tellement innombrables et complexes dans leurs relations ! Se pourrait-il qu\u2019un lacet cass\u00e9 nous fasse rater le bus, et de col\u00e8re nous nous en prenons \u00e0 une pauvre inconnue, ajoutant une pierre \u00e0 sa peine qui la conduira \u00e0 la d\u00e9pression ? Ou bien qu’une sonnerie d’\u00e9cole nous plonge dans une nostalgie toute la semaine pr\u00e9c\u00e9dant notre mariage et fasse ainsi douter notre promis(e) ? Ou encore qu\u2019\u00e0 cause d\u2019une t\u00e2che de caf\u00e9 tenace nous manquions la rencontre qui allait changer le cours de notre existence ?<\/p>\n

Quelle ma\u00eetrise avons-nous de notre vie ? En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, aucune. Bien s\u00fbr, nous essayons de nous rassurer en programmant, planifiant, anticipant, et plus nous sommes craintifs des lendemains, plus nous voulons contr\u00f4ler. Mais si nous y r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissons bien, il est impossible de conna\u00eetre l’infinit\u00e9 des possibles. Quelle certitude pouvons-nous avoir que nous n\u2019allons pas mourir ce soir ?<\/p>\n

Dans les traditions hindoue et bouddhiste, seul le dieu Brahm\u0101<\/a> per\u00e7oit tout cela, car il est l\u2019esprit connaissant tous les possibles, la base de toutes les causes et des effets. On appelle cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 \u201cle filet de Brahm\u0101 \u201d, et nous vivons dans ses mailles. Mais Brahm\u0101 n\u2019est autre que notre propre esprit, appr\u00e9hend\u00e9 dans son aspect le plus vaste, le plus universel. Au sein de la connaissance de Brahm\u0101, les trois temps – pass\u00e9, pr\u00e9sent et futur – sont pr\u00e9sents. D\u00e8s lors, la certitude de tout conna\u00eetre semble totale. Nous sommes l\u2019univers : symbiose totale entre les formes, le mouvement et la volont\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Et pourtant, Brahm\u0101 se fourvoie \u00e9galement, car tout cela est parfaitement illusoire. Toute cause pr\u00e9c\u00e8de l\u2019effet, certes, mais lorsqu\u2019on se concentre correctement, on d\u00e9couvre que cela n\u2019est nullement vrai en soi. C\u2019est l\u2019un des points cl\u00e9s les plus fondamentaux des enseignements de la Grande Perfection : \u201cApparent, mais non existant\u201d. Les effets et les causes, en bref tous les possibles, apparaissent spontan\u00e9ment au sein de la nature primordiale de notre esprit, comme reflets de sa nature vide.<\/p>\n

Pour le yogi et la yogini, les pratiquants de la voie du Dzogch\u00e8n, cette d\u00e9couverte est souvent un choc. Un choc r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 chaque observation, qui am\u00e8ne une vision directe de la nature illusoire m\u00eame des causes et des effets. Comment contr\u00f4ler ce qui n\u2019est plus l\u00e0 l\u2019instant suivant ? Quelle peur peut-il y avoir, si rien n\u2019\u00e9tant l\u00e0 vraiment, rien ne dispara\u00eet ? Ma\u00eetriser sa vie n\u2019est plus un objectif, car on comprend que c\u2019est impossible. Sans fatalisme, on n\u2019abandonne pourtant jamais la vigilance de ses actes, car on sait que tout compte.<\/p>\n

Puis un jour, le yogi et la yogini se rendent compte que plus rien n\u2019est inconnu. La nature primordiale est la base de tout, rien ne se trouve ni en-dehors, ni en-dedans, pas m\u00eame l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de cette nature essentielle. Il\/elle est alors tel un garuda : cet oiseau mythique qui, d\u00e8s qu\u2019il perce sa coquille, sait imm\u00e9diatement et parfaitement voler.<\/p>\n

Tant que le corps demeure, ultime reliquat des causes et des effets, le yogi et la yogini vont sans peur, dans l\u2019abandon complet et la certitude profonde. Le bus en retard, les sonneries d\u2019\u00e9coles, ils s\u2019en nourrissent d\u00e9sormais : cette danse des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes est celle de leur nature primordiale. Puis, lorsque la mort arrive, lorsque se brise la coquille, c\u2019est un envol imm\u00e9diat dans le ciel pur de la libert\u00e9 primordiale<\/a>. Et tout est Grande Perfection, d\u00e9finitivement.<\/p>\n
