Qu’est-ce qu’une\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0tradition\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0et qu\u2019est-ce que la \u00ab tradition \u00bb du Dzogch\u00e8n ?<\/h6>\n

Mais au fait\u2026 d\u2019o\u00f9 viennent ces enseignements\u00a0? Pour expliquer leur origine on parle de la \u00ab\u00a0tradition\u00a0\u00bb du Dzogch\u00e8n. Comment comprendre ce terme de tradition ?<\/em> Il ne sonne pas tr\u00e8s moderne, non\u00a0?<\/p>\n

Le mot \u00ab\u00a0tradition\u00a0\u00bb provient du latin traditio,<\/em> du verbe tradere<\/em>, qui signifie\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0transmettre\u00a0\u00bb ou \u00ab\u00a0confier quelque chose \u00e0 quelqu\u2019un\u00a0\u00bb. Cette expression nous renvoie au c\u0153ur de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience humaine. \u00a0Il est question de mots, de gestes ou de silences qui transmettent un savoir-faire artisanal ou une certaine compr\u00e9hension du monde. Nous avons tous tellement appris de cette mani\u00e8re-l\u00e0\u00a0! C\u2019est par exemple de cette mani\u00e8re que nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 apprendre notre langue maternelle.<\/p>\n

Il existe ainsi toutes sortes de traditions. Le Dzogch\u00e8n est une tradition contemplative<\/em>. L\u00e0 aussi nous pouvons avoir recours \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tymologie. Le mot \u00ab\u00a0contemplation\u00a0\u00bb vient du verbe latin, contemplor<\/em>, \u00ab\u00a0regarder attentivement\u00a0\u00bb, form\u00e9 sur le suffixe cum<\/em> et le substantif templum<\/em>. Le templum<\/em> est ce rectangle trac\u00e9 dans le ciel par le b\u00e2ton de l\u2019augure pour focaliser l\u2019attention scrupuleusement sur le r\u00e9el, en l\u2019occurence sur le vol des oiseaux, lu comme manifestation des intentions divines. Ce terme d\u00e9signe \u00e9galement, dans les mondes grecs et romains, la base du podium d\u00e9limitant l\u2019espace sacr\u00e9 au sol faisant de la terre le miroir du ciel. Contempler c\u2019est ainsi s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 une vision plus vaste et plus compl\u00e8te du r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n

Une tradition contemplative transmet donc la possibilit\u00e9 de renouveler radicalement son regard. Elle nous propose de prendre conscience de notre mani\u00e8re de voir et de vivre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir ce qui exc\u00e8de infiniment nos repr\u00e9sentations ordinaires, ce que les traditions contemplatives nomment toutes \u00e0 leur mani\u00e8re\u00a0: Dieu, le Brahman, le Tao ou Dzogch\u00e8n. Ce dernier terme signifie grande perfection<\/em> ou grande compl\u00e9tude<\/em>, cette expression pointant vers la nature ultime \u00ad- pure et parfaite – de notre esprit.<\/p>\n

Pour parler plus sp\u00e9cifiquement de la tradition du Dzogch\u00e8n, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de sa transmission se trouve le Bouddha primordial, Kuntuzangpo<\/em>. Litt\u00e9ralement\u00a0: le Tout excellent. Il n\u2019a jamais d\u00e9vi\u00e9 de cette reconnaissance. Il symbolise aussi le fait que notre propre nature n\u2019a, elle non plus, jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 alt\u00e9r\u00e9e.

C\u2019est l\u2019histoire bouddhiste, reprise depuis par la culture contemporaine) du sage qui regarde la lune tandis que l\u2019idiot regarde le doigt<\/span> qui d\u00e9signe l\u2019astre nocturne. L’origine de la tradition<\/h6>\n

C\u2019est l\u00e0 que le mot de tradition prend tout leur sens. Il signifie le pr\u00e9cieux et \u00e9mouvant t\u00e9moignage du passage, si humain et si au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019humain, de ce feu sacr\u00e9, de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. La tradition n\u2019est pas le culte des cendres, mais la pr\u00e9servation du feu <\/span><\/span>nous dit Gustav Malher<\/span>[2]<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pour parler plus sp\u00e9cifiquement de la tradition du Dzogch\u00e8n, \u00e0 l\u2019origine de sa transmission se trouve le Bouddha primordial, Kuntuzangpo<\/em>. Litt\u00e9ralement\u00a0: le Tout excellent. Il n\u2019a jamais d\u00e9vi\u00e9 de cette reconnaissance. Il symbolise aussi le fait que notre propre nature n\u2019a, elle non plus, jamais \u00e9t\u00e9 alt\u00e9r\u00e9e. \u00c0 partir de lui partent deux grandes traditions contemplatives\u00a0: celle du b\u00f6n<\/em>, qui est tib\u00e9taine, autochtone, et celle du bouddhisme dit nyingmapa<\/em> venu principalement d\u2019Inde. Des ma\u00eetres humains, incarn\u00e9s dans le temps et dans l\u2019espace se manifestent\u00a0: Tapihritsa<\/em> pour le b\u00f6n et Garab Dorje<\/em> pour les nyingmapas et c\u2019est le d\u00e9but de cette grande aventure qui perdure jusqu\u2019\u00e0 nos jours.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est l\u2019histoire de Shardza Tashi Gyaltsen (1859-1934) qui \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de soixante-quinze ans se comporta de plus en plus librement vis \u00e0 vis des conventions sociales, aimant \u00e0 jouer avec des enfants et se manifestant de plus en plus fr\u00e9quemment sous forme de d\u00e9it\u00e9s \u00e0 ces disciples, transmettant ainsi par les mots mais, plus encore, par son \u00eatre, par son \u00e9tat de r\u00e9alisation.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est l\u2019histoire de Patrul Rinpoch\u00e9 (1808-1887) pr\u00e9sentant la nature de l\u2019esprit \u00e0 Nyoshul Lungtok (1829-1902) dans l\u2019ermitage de Nakchung en lui disant de regarder les \u00e9toiles dans le ciel et d\u2019\u00e9couter les aboiements des chiens du monast\u00e8re Dzogch\u00e8n\u00a0: l\u2019absolu ne r\u00e9side pas quelque part hors du quotidien, il est ce dernier vu tel quel<\/em>.<\/p>\n
