Trop bien !\u00a0\u00bb), par des ratiocinations (suppos\u00e9es rationaliser ce qui d\u00e9borde toute la raison dont nous disposons\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0La mort c\u2019est toujours celle des autres\u00a0\u00bb) ou par de vagues croyances (dont l\u2019on pr\u00e9f\u00e8re ne pas trop questionner le bien-fond\u00e9\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Je suis s\u00fbr qu\u2019apr\u00e8s<\/em>\u00a0il y a\u00a0quelque chose<\/em>\u2026\u00a0\u00bb). Mais les circonstances de la\u00a0vie<\/em>, ironiquement, ne cessent de nous rappeler la\u00a0mort<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Je me souviens de la mort d\u2019une amie avec qui je partageais un m\u00eame cheminement spirituel, de la disparition d\u2019un oncle dans lequel je reconnaissais certains traits de mon propre caract\u00e8re ou m\u00eame du d\u00e9c\u00e8s de personnages plus lointains comme l\u2019auteur de BD Moebius, dont j\u2019attendais qu\u2019il finisse le prochain album d\u2019Arzach\u2026 Dans ces moments on pense vraiment \u00e0 la mort\u2026 si bien que ce n\u2019est plus juste une notion abstraite approch\u00e9e mentalement. On\u00a0ressent<\/em>\u00a0notre corps comme \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re. On\u00a0voit<\/em>\u00a0que notre relation avec ceux que l\u2019on aime ne peut \u00eatre \u00e9ternelle. Nos perceptions sensorielles nous\u00a0r\u00e9v\u00e8lent<\/em>\u00a0un monde d\u2019apparences transitoires et incertaines. On\u00a0\u00e9prouve<\/em>\u00a0alors de mani\u00e8re vive que vie et mort sont \u00e9troitement tiss\u00e9es ; vouloir l\u2019une sans l\u2019autre est absurde !<\/p>\n

Na\u00eetre c\u2019est devoir mourir. Il arrive d\u2019ailleurs que les deux \u00e9v\u00e9nements se succ\u00e8dent rapidement\u00a0: c\u2019est le tragique des enfants dits mort-n\u00e9s. M\u00eame si la mort survient cent-huit ans apr\u00e8s la naissance, rien ne change au fait que les deux soient in\u00e9luctablement li\u00e9es. Le temps de notre existence pourrait d\u2019ailleurs \u00eatre d\u00e9crit comme une succession de petites morts et naissances\u00a0: commencer\/finir une journ\u00e9e, lire cet article\/cesser cette lecture, se marier\/divorcer, d\u00e9buter un travail\/le perdre, etc. Vos propres exemples seront n\u00e9cessairement les plus parlants et il n\u2019est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas n\u00e9cessaire de les chercher bien longtemps.<\/p>\n

Si l\u2019on a c\u0153ur de comprendre notre vie, si on veut la vivre vraiment, n\u2019est-il pas n\u00e9cessaire de porter nos regards sur la mort\u00a0? Faire cela, c\u2019est comme se r\u00e9veiller dans un r\u00eave et prendre conscience de sa nature onirique.<\/p>\n

En effet, tout ce qui semble si solide dans notre existence : notre travail, nos habitudes, nos proches, nos loisirs, etc., etc. rien ne semble devoir survivre \u00e0 la mort. Tout cela existe\u00a0maintenant<\/em>\u00a0mais certainement pas toujours. Pourtant c\u2019est comme si l\u2019on (qui\u00a0?) nous avait assur\u00e9 que tout ce petit monde \u00e9tait vraiment solide, p\u00e9renne. Mais la contemplation du caract\u00e8re \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re de toutes choses nous montre qu\u2019il n\u2019est rien de tel.<\/p>\n

Un jour notre coll\u00e8gue de travail avec qui nous sommes en conflit au sujet des questions relevant de l\u2019intendance, mais sur qui nous pouvons compter en cas de coup dur avec tout ce qui est fiduciaire, dont nous appr\u00e9cions l\u2019humour caustique qu\u2019il d\u00e9ploie pr\u00e8s de la machine \u00e0 caf\u00e9, etc. etc. n\u2019est plus qu\u2019un souvenir. Nous venons juste d\u2019apprendre qu\u2019il n\u2019a pas surv\u00e9cu \u00e0 son cancer. Ce qui nous a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9crit comme\u00a0la r\u00e9alit\u00e9<\/em>\u00a0quand nous \u00e9tions enfants, l\u2019univers de nos parents et grands-parents n\u2019est pas du tout celui du pr\u00e9sent. Tout change tr\u00e8s vite. Pour aller o\u00f9\u00a0? Personne ne semble le savoir tr\u00e8s bien.<\/p>\n

Notre identit\u00e9, notre\u00a0moi<\/em>\u00a0ch\u00e9ri, survivra-t-il \u00e0 la mort\u00a0? Mon moi bien \u00e0 moi qui se d\u00e9finit (entre autres choses) par l\u2019amour des bande-dessin\u00e9es de Moebius, de la cuisine tha\u00eflandaise et des films de David Lynch pourra-t-il\u00a0post mortem<\/em>\u00a0farfouiller dans des librairies, d\u00e9guster de fins mets et s\u2019int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la saison 4 de\u00a0Twin Peaks<\/em>\u00a0? Rien ne le garantit. Qu\u2019adviendra-il de ce moi alors\u00a0?<\/p>\n

Et m\u00eame dans cette vie puis-je dire que je reste le m\u00eame moment apr\u00e8s moment\u00a0? Suis-je\u00a0vraiment<\/em>\u00a0le m\u00eame au travail o\u00f9 je suis connu comme une personne raisonnable tenant ses dossiers bien \u00e0 jour, ou bien encore la nuit, dans un r\u00eave d\u00e9lirant o\u00f9 je suis une pieuvre cosmique, dans le sommeil profond\u00a0o\u00f9 il n\u2019y a \u2013 semble-t-il \u2013 plus personne, le matin lorsque je me r\u00e9veille et que je suis \u00e9merveill\u00e9 par le chant d\u2019un oiseau puis agac\u00e9 parce que finalement il est trop bruyant ? Tout se passe comme s\u2019il y avait une succession de moi(s) apparaissant et disparaissant.<\/p>\n

Et si l\u2019on observe ce qui se produit dans l\u2019esprit instant apr\u00e8s instant,\u00a0que d\u00e9couvre-t-on\u00a0? La naissance d\u2019une pens\u00e9e, suivi de sa mort, un espace, la naissance d\u2019une autre (li\u00e9e ou non \u00e0 la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente) et, de nouveau la mort de celle-ci, de nouveau un espace\u2026 et ainsi de suite. Chaque pens\u00e9e appara\u00eet comme un petit monde cognitif et \u00e9motionnel avec ses couleurs et sa texture propre qui, d\u00e8s qu\u2019il para\u00eet, nous semble \u00eatre la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 m\u00eame. Pourtant elle est aussi \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re qu\u2019une bulle de savon iris\u00e9e flottant \u2013\u00a0\u00a0le temps du rire d\u2019un enfant \u2013 avant d\u2019\u00e9clater dans l\u2019azur. \u00c7a semblait si r\u00e9el pourtant\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Contempler ceci est vertigineux et douloureux\u00a0: tout ce qui est compos\u00e9 (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire tout ce qui\u00a0vit<\/em>) est impermanent (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire\u00a0mortel<\/em>). Pourquoi est-ce vertigineux\u00a0? Parce que nous passons habituellement notre temps \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 distance cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9. D\u2019o\u00f9 ce malaise, lorsque les \u00e9v\u00e9nements (deuil, s\u00e9paration, maladie) ou une r\u00e9elle r\u00e9flexion la place face \u00e0 nous, de mani\u00e8re in\u00e9vitable. Toutes nos constructions habituelles qui nous assuraient un \u201cmoi stable\u201d et un monde bien solide s\u2019\u00e9vanouissent comme des brumes sous le soleil ardent de midi.<\/p>\n

Pour la tradition du Dzogch\u00e8n ceci est une tr\u00e8s bonne nouvelle.<\/p>\n

Quand une de nos baudruches mentales se d\u00e9gonfle, quand nous acceptons l\u2019impermanence de ce que nous croyions permanent ou lorsque nous regardons l\u2019espace entre deux pens\u00e9es, alors nous pouvons voir le rayonnement de notre nature v\u00e9ritable.
