Le monde chr\u00e9tien f\u00eate la naissance du Christ<\/a> dans la nuit du 24 au 25 d\u00e9cembre. C\u2019est une nuit sp\u00e9ciale pour beaucoup en Occident. C\u2019est \u00e9galement une nuit mystique, pas seulement pour les enfants qui attendent excit\u00e9s que le pied du sapin se garnisse comme par magie et l\u2019aide du vieux monsieur No\u00ebl, mais parce qu\u2019elle nous ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 quelque chose d\u2019autre.<\/p>\n

En fait, cette nuit \u00e9tait depuis longtemps consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une des plus longues de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, situ\u00e9e autour du solstice d\u2019hiver. En 274, l\u2019empereur romain Aur\u00e9lien qui avait voulu unifier religieusement l\u2019Empire, avait choisi cette date qui \u00e9tait la conjonction de la fin des f\u00eates Saturnales traditionnelles romaines et du jour de naissance de la divinit\u00e9 solaire des cultes \u00e0 myst\u00e8res, Mithra. Il nomma cette f\u00eate la grande f\u00eate du culte du\u00a0Sol invictus<\/em>, du \u00ab\u00a0soleil invaincu\u00a0\u00bb, pour montrer la pr\u00e9\u00e9minence de la lumi\u00e8re sur les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres. Cette date sera retenue, au 4e\u00a0si\u00e8cle par le monde chr\u00e9tien, comme \u00e9tant le \u00ab\u00a0soleil de justice\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019une \u00e8re nouvelle.<\/p>\n

Le Myst\u00e8re du fond de la Nuit<\/h2>\n

Cette nuit, c\u2019est l\u2019une des plus obscures, des plus myst\u00e9rieuses de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. La Lumi\u00e8re du Fond de la Nuit<\/h2>\n

Lorsque c\u2019est le bon moment, nous nous retirons du monde et nous enfermons dans une pi\u00e8ce totalement obscure, sans un seul rayon ou une seule source de lumi\u00e8re et passons nos journ\u00e9es et nos nuits \u00e0 m\u00e9diter sur notre nature et son v\u00e9ritable aspect\u00a0: la lumi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Au bout d\u2019un temps plus ou moins long, au plus profond de la nuit, l\u2019obscurit\u00e9 elle-m\u00eame s\u2019illumine et nous nous retrouvons projet\u00e9s au pied du sapin \u00e9clair\u00e9 dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres.
