Qu’entendons-nous v\u00e9ritablement par Dzogch\u00e8n, la Grande Perfection ? S’agit-il d’une tradition spirituelle originaire de l’Inde et ancienne de plus de 2000 ans qui s’est ensuite propag\u00e9e au Tibet ? Est-ce une fa\u00e7on de vivre qui nous aide \u00e0 nous lib\u00e9rer de la souffrance ? Est-ce une pr\u00e9sentation du fonctionnement de l’esprit “\u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur de nous” ? Ou est-ce une explication de la fa\u00e7on dont le monde tourne “autour de nous”\u00a0? Ou faisons-nous simplement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au fait d’\u00eatre introduit \u00e0 la v\u00e9ritable nature de l’esprit ? Nous pourrions dire que le Dzogch\u00e8n comprend tout cela, mais tout d\u00e9pend de l’angle sous lequel nous nous pla\u00e7ons. Les enseignements ont toujours mis l’accent sur un point particulier consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant la “marque de fabrique” du Dzogch\u00e8n : tout est primordialement parfait, tout est Grande Perfection. Comme le d\u00e9clare Mila Khy\u00e8nts\u00e9 Rinpoch\u00e9 : “La tradition Dzogch\u00e8n insiste sur le fait que toute la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de notre existence vient de notre esprit, que notre esprit est primordialement parfait et qu’il suffit de le reconna\u00eetre pour se lib\u00e9rer des cha\u00eenes illusoires de la souffrance, l’impermanence et la mort.”<\/p>\n

Voyons comment cette tradition a pris naissance. Selon les textes canoniques du Dzogch\u00e8n, son fondateur \u00e9tait un ma\u00eetre indien nomm\u00e9 Garab Dorj\u00e9, n\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de deux si\u00e8cles apr\u00e8s le parinirvana du Bouddha. Ses enseignements sont devenus le c\u0153ur de la tradition Dzogch\u00e8n. Le disciple principal de Garab Dorj\u00e9 fut le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre grand pandita Manjushrimitra qui a \u00e9crit des commentaires qui sont toujours d’une grande aide pour les \u00e9tudiants, chercheurs et m\u00e9ditants de notre \u00e9poque moderne. \u00c0 son tour, Manjushrimitra transmit la lign\u00e9e \u00e0 son principal disciple Shri Singha. Au cours des si\u00e8cles, les enseignements du Dzogch\u00e8n, initialement d\u00e9livr\u00e9s par Garab Dorj\u00e9, sont rest\u00e9s compl\u00e8tement purs et totalement inalt\u00e9r\u00e9s par les concepts ou remaniements d’\u00eatres ordinaires non \u00e9veill\u00e9s car ils ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 transmis \u00e0 travers une lign\u00e9e ininterrompue de ma\u00eetres hautement r\u00e9alis\u00e9s qui, tout comme Garab Dorj\u00e9, ont tous r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l’\u00e9tat de Grande Perfection au cours de leur vie.<\/p>\n

Ainsi, les enseignements ont pu garder leur puret\u00e9, leur fra\u00eecheur, leur grande efficacit\u00e9 et leur b\u00e9n\u00e9diction jusqu’\u00e0 aujourd’hui. L’essence m\u00eame du Dzogch\u00e8n se refl\u00e8te dans les nobles qualit\u00e9s de tous ces grands sages du pass\u00e9 et du pr\u00e9sent. De plus, tous ces grands \u00eatres ont su parfaitement adapter les enseignements du Dzogch\u00e8n aux temps et aux besoins sp\u00e9cifiques des individus, sans en changer le c\u0153ur m\u00eame – l’essence des enseignements. C’est pourquoi, de nos jours, on peut toujours s’appuyer sur les paroles transmises il y a plus de 2000 ans, notamment par Garab Dorj\u00e9. Aujourd’hui, plus que jamais, il est donc vraiment important que les enseignements continuent \u00e0 \u00eatre enseign\u00e9s et adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 notre situation moderne d’une mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s pure et authentique par des ma\u00eetres r\u00e9alis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n
