Dans le m\u00e9tro, mon regard est tomb\u00e9 sur de la poussi\u00e8re dans un angle de ma valise. \u00c7a m\u2019a fait comme un d\u00e9clic, une porte qui s\u2019ouvre sur la r\u00e9alisation subite que m\u00eame une valise, \u00e7a ne dure pas pour toute l\u2019\u00e9ternit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0M\u00eame Mona Lisa se d\u00e9sagr\u00e8ge\u00a0\u00bb dit Tyler Durden dans Fight Club<\/em>, alors que Edward Norton s\u2019extrait une dent cass\u00e9e. Il n\u2019a pas tort : notre existence passe en un \u00e9clair, elle est transitoire et n\u2019est faite que de transitions : une pens\u00e9e s\u2019encha\u00eene \u00e0 une autre, un travail suit un repos qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de un travail. La mort arrive vite et c\u2019est ce que me dit ce petit tas de poussi\u00e8re sur l\u2019angle de ma valise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Je me rappelle d\u2019un texte de mon ma\u00eetre qui parlait d\u2019une exp\u00e9rience de choc fondamental. Un de ses ma\u00eetres lui avait dit : \u00ab\u00a0dans cent ans, toutes les personnes que tu connais seront mortes et auront disparu\u00a0\u00bb. \u00c7a lui avait fait un tel choc qu\u2019il \u00e9tait rest\u00e9 dans un \u00e9tat de sid\u00e9ration pendant plusieurs jours, dans une compr\u00e9hension imm\u00e9diate de l\u2019extr\u00eame impermanence de nos vies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alors je vois cette poussi\u00e8re accumul\u00e9e dans l\u2019angle de ma valise, qui est comme un symbole, un rappel que tout subit le cycle de la corruption, passe par le cycle de la vie et de la mort, et je me dis que moi aussi je meurs d\u00e9j\u00e0.<\/span><\/p>\n

Et qu\u2019il y a eu une accumulation de g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de gens qui sont morts et que les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations se sont accumul\u00e9es comme cette poussi\u00e8re sur la valise.<\/span><\/p>\n

Et qu’il y a eu autant de g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de gens qui ont compris que quelque chose se jouait l\u00e0, dans ce rappel de l\u2019impermanence et de l\u2019\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re, dans cette danse de la mort dans la vie, et qui ont compris qu\u2019ils devaient \u2014 qu\u2019ils se devaient \u00e0 eux-m\u00eames, en fait \u2014 de pratiquer le rappel de la mort au beau milieu des activit\u00e9s de la vie. Et que c\u2019\u00e9tait l\u00e0 le d\u00e9but d\u2019une plus grande pr\u00e9paration \u00e0 la mort, \u00e0 sa<\/em> mort. Ma mort<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Parce que l\u00e0, tout s\u2019arr\u00eate : je me demande pourquoi le m\u00e9tro va ; pourquoi il va l\u00e0 o\u00f9 il va ; pourquoi mes ongles et mes cheveux poussent alors qu\u2019ils vont mourir ; pourquoi je pense alors que je vais mourir.<\/span><\/p>\n

Je vois les cendres de l\u2019histoire, l\u2019histoire qui se r\u00e9p\u00e8te, et qui r\u00e9p\u00e8te ses cendres. Je me demande comment la mort peut me transformer en cendres.<\/span><\/p>\n

Je vois que je suis poussi\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n

Et au milieu des cendres de l\u2019histoire, je repense \u00e0 la formule de Gandhi :<\/span><\/p>\n
