Darjeeling, le Toy Train et le Dzogch\u00e8n<\/h6>\n

Si vous \u00eates all\u00e9s dans les contreforts de l\u2019Himalaya dans la r\u00e9gion de Darjeeling, vous connaissez tr\u00e8s certainement l\u2019une des attractions phares du coin avec les collines de plantation de th\u00e9 et les \u00ab orchid nurseries \u00bb (les serres d\u2019orchid\u00e9es) : celle du \u00ab Toy Train \u00bb.
Peut-\u00eatre, d\u2019ailleurs, l\u2019avez-vous d\u00e9j\u00e0 pris et avez-vous fait le trajet entier de 82km de Siliguri dans la plaine \u00e0 Darjeeling, \u00e0 2045m d\u2019altitude, en un peu plus de\u2026 8 heures ! Ce qu\u2019on appelle le \u201cLong Ride\u201d. Si c\u2019est le cas, vous avez tr\u00e8s certainement pu faire tout un tas de choses \u00e0 bord du train ou dans les gares travers\u00e9es : admirer le paysage en faisant des photos, \u00e9changer avec les passagers, partager votre repas, prendre un verre de masala chai tendu pour vous par la fen\u00eatre par un vendeur sur les quais ou m\u00eame en marche (c\u2019est dire la vitesse du train par endroit !), lire, dormir, relire, redormir, m\u00eame vous d\u00e9gourdir les jambes, et surtout penser. Vers la fin du trajet (environ les deux derni\u00e8res heures), vous devenez philosophe (vous avez eu le temps de vieillir beaucoup en 6 heures de trajet) et vous ne pouvez vous emp\u00eacher de faire le parall\u00e8le entre votre parcours ferroviaire et le chemin du Dzogch\u00e8n.<\/p>\n

Le Toy Train, c\u2019est la m\u00eame chose : pour acc\u00e9der aux nu\u00e9es et au paradis de la station d\u2019altitude britannique, il a besoin de passer par des \u00ab loops \u00bb, des courbes et des tournants successifs en forme de 8, qui le ram\u00e8nent en arri\u00e8re et le propulsent en avant, lui faisant gagner de la vitesse pour gravir la pente. Le chemin du Dzogch\u00e8n est une longue succession de boucles nous montrant tous les recoins de notre esprit, nos habitudes les plus ancr\u00e9es comme les plus l\u00e9g\u00e8res, nos pens\u00e9es les plus nobles comme les plus ordinaires. Au bout d\u2019un certain temps de pratique, l\u2019\u00e9quivalent des 6 heures de trajet du Toy Train, tous ces mouvements et ces boucles successives s\u2019apaisent finalement car nous r\u00e9alisons d\u00e9finitivement que ce que nous vivons est un r\u00eave<\/span>, sans boucle ni mouvement, et, comme tous les r\u00eaves, c\u2019est fondamentalement illusoire. \u00c0 ce moment-l\u00e0, nous pouvons finir le trajet totalement concentr\u00e9s sur la nature primordiale de notre esprit : c\u2019est comme si nous \u00e9tions d\u00e9j\u00e0 arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 Darjeeling\u2026 mais il reste encore deux heures de trajet.<\/p>\n

C\u2019est \u00e9galement une autre fa\u00e7on d\u2019aborder le chemin dans le Dzogch\u00e8n : la \u00ab formule express \u00bb qui est donc, comme son nom le sugg\u00e8re, beaucoup plus rapide, mais \u00e9galement beaucoup plus mouvement\u00e9e (d\u2019o\u00f9 le \u00ab Joy Ride \u00bb qui fait quand m\u00eame penser \u00e0 un rod\u00e9o sur rails\u2026). On dit dans la tradition qu\u2019elle est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement l\u2019apanage d\u2019\u00eatres qui ont effectu\u00e9 un entra\u00eenement profond \u00ab auparavant \u00bb (ce qui peut remonter \u00e0 beaucoup plus loin que ce que nous pourrions imaginer). On les appelle, comme dans la tradition bouddhiste, les Bodhisattva : des \u00eatres dont l\u2019unique but est d\u2019atteindre la lib\u00e9ration ultime de toute souffrance pour que tous tous les \u00eatres<\/span> puissent \u00e9galement y arriver en suivant leur exemple. Ce parcours est plus mouvement\u00e9, car le Toy Train doit passer par une succession plus rapide des fameuses loops, et il ne s\u2019arr\u00eate qu\u2019\u00e0 une gare, Kurseong, avant d\u2019atteindre Ghoom. Autant dire que tout va beaucoup plus vite : moins de temps pour \u00e9changer, admirer, manger, dormir ou boire, et peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame pas le temps de se d\u00e9gourdir les jambes.
